We had a funny thing happen to us while we were waiting for our next flight to Barbados. We were pretty tired since we had been up mostly since 6:00 am yesterday with only a small amount of sleep. Anyway, both Tina and I fell sound a sleep in the airport. There were tons of people there waiting for their flights. In my sleep I could here someone saying Wake up, wake up over and over. I did wake up and there was a man telling us they were boarding the plane. We jumped up and grabbed our stuff still kind of in a daze getting in line and then we realized it was a different flight at the terminal we were at. Ours didn't leave for another hour and a half. We had a good laugh about it and thanked the gentleman that woke us up.
We did catch our flight on time and it was also uneventful, which we like. It took 4 hours to get to Barbados. The plane was freezing, luckily, a the missionary couple we are replacing, the Hall's, told us to bring a sweatshirt for plane travel, but you won't need it ever again until you go home. We did need it for plane travel and we didn't need it the second we stepped off the plane.

| We are in finally in Barbados. |
We were greeted by President and Sister Bickmore who is the mission president. They were very nice and filled us in on a few things we would need to know about the mission and country. They dropped us off at the house we will be staying at until we fly to St Lucia on Monday. They told us another couple would come by and take us out to dinner.
The Ellis' did come by and we visited for a while and then we went an got pizza. We met another couple, the Fuller's who were there. We had a nice dinner and they firehose filled us in on things we needed to know about the mission and country.
After dinner we came back to where we are staying, which is a house built in the 1800's. It is very nice and comfortable.
The Fullers stayed and visited until about 8:00pm. Tina and I were very tired and could hardly keep our eyes open. As soon as they left we hit the sack.
