• Moved out of motel into the Halls apartment
• First District Leaders training meeting
• Shopping for food
• Our new home

Well, today is the big day. We are moving out of the motel and into the apartment that the Halls left. They got it cleaned and painted yesterday. 

We spent the morning packing our bags and getting things loaded into the truck. We then went over to the apartment to drop our suitcases off. Mary, the cleaning lady said the apartment was ready to move into so we took our bags up and started putting everything away. 

At 10:30 we had a district meeting with the missionaries. I was impressed with how well organized they are. They taught doctrine and reviewed their work over the past week and all were very prepared. I have to say the missionaries today are much better than what we were back in our day. 

After the meeting we went back to our apartment and finish putting things away. We had to pay some bills and go buy groceries now we have a place to put it. 

Going shopping and buying food is a little bit of a shell shock. When you pay for it. It takes 2.7 to make one EC dollar. So when you pay for it in EC dollar it seems to be really expensive. But when you convert it to US dollar it's not so bad. One thing that's hard to find here is milk out of the freezer. They have some type of milk that can sit on the shelf for months. It's not as good but it is drinkable. 

Tonight after we got everything unpacked and situated we went down and took a swim in the little pool they have here on the property. It is actually pretty nice and the water was perfect and cooled us down. You sweat so much here. It felt good to get in and swim around or a bit just before we went to bed.
