  • Clean Church
  • Lost taking Sister Santos home (again)
  • Chinese Restaurant we tried
  • Scarlett's graduation from college. Teaching degree

Today we went to the church to help clean it. We were supposed to start at 10, but some got there at 9am and started cleaning. The water has been going off, which happens often in the dry season. It came back on while we were there. We had a small turnout, but we got it cleaned in about an hour.

After it was over we took Sister Santos home which is quite the event. She lives way back up in the mountain. She is our relief society president and is very busy with food orders. I am trying to get a handle on it but with not much luck. 

After we took a back road to Rodney Bay and of course got lost. We eventually made it. We wanted to look into getting some hand rails for Sister Sharon Alleyne, but they didn't have what we needed. I did buy some flippers for snorkeling.

We stopped at the Rodney Bay shopping center and went to a Chinese Restaurant the missionaries recommended. It was good, but I wouldn't say as good as home.

We then went home and Tanner sent us a link to watch Scarlett graduate from college and got her teaching degree. They were pretty excited about it. She has a job to go to at the school she has been student teaching. 

After the graduation we went to the beach next to the airport and went swimming. We tried out my flippers and they worked pretty good. The waves were pretty big and the water was kind of dirty, but it felt good. 

After swimming we went home and the missionaries came over with Elder Sandberg the new companion for Elder Burnett. He is excited to be here. I asked him to speak in church tomorrow, which he accepted. They did eat most of the ice cream we just bought today.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
