• Visit to Kevin's home
• Went to the Prosthetic place to find out what they have to offer. Church wheelchairs
• Went to visit President and Sister DeBeauville for the after noon.
• Vigie light tower and large cruse ship 

I received a text the other day from a member Tasha who was concerned about a young man in our branch. His name is Kevin and he was baptized in 2016. He was telling me that he has had a problem with seizures when he was younger and he still takes medication to help with that and other problems associated with it. Anyway Tasha who owns a market around the corner from us. He stop's by her shop often and he is not looking well. She asked me to stop by and visit with him so we decided to go visit today. 

When we got to his house we went to the front door and ended up talking to his mother for quite a while. She told us that he was not doing well from her perspective. He is not taking his medications which is affecting his behavior. I may have said this before he he lives in a little block addon under the house. It is not very big. And there is another problem he has with his personal hygiene. We are unable to go into his room because it smells so bad. Anyway he came outside and he had one chair and a 5 gallon bucket and a rock. So we visited outside for about an hour. I talked to him about being clean inside and out. We talked about his mental health. I felt that we had a good visit, but his thought process is so different that I am not sure. I talked to him about washing his clothes, bathing every day and cleaning up his room, which I said smells so bad we cannot go in it. We really encouraged him, but we'll see how it goes.

After leaving Kevin's home we went to find a company called the National Council of and For persons with Disabilities. We found it, but it was closed because today was a holiday called "The Feast of Corpus Christi" so everything was closed. We plan to come back. Oh, they receive a shipment of wheel chairs from the Church quite often. They had one left and had the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the back. They said they receive a shipment of 100 about 6 months ago and they only have one left. 

We were supposed to get together with Yohan and his wife Sherlyne for lunch then do something after, but they called and said because of the holiday everything was closed. So we decided to go visit President and Sister DeBeauville. They are long time members and have a lot of good life experience. We went and visited them for a couple of hours. They are fun to visit with and it was nice to just relax for a bit. They really know the ins and outs of how things should run here and in the branch so I pick his brain a lot. 

After we finished there we headed home and it was nice because of the holiday not to many people were on the road. As were were coming back a big cruse ship was leaving the harbor. They are massive, but when you take a picture it does not do them justice. We had this massive freighter in port the other day and I took a picture of it, but it just didn't look that big. 

On our way home we drove to the end of the runway on the Vigie beach side as we were trying to get to the end of the island to watch the cruse ship go by. Turns out there is a road out there and a small mountain that it winds to the top. There is a lighthouse at the top you can hike to. It is quite interesting. We were to late to really get a good closeup of the cruse ship, but enjoyed looking over the ocean for a bit as the sun was going down. Unfortunately it was very dusty tonight so you couldn't see the sun set on the ocean.

The NBA playoffs are going on and I found a radio station on the internet that I could listen to the game. Problem is they go late because of the time difference. I went to bed and was listening to it, but fell asleep.
