Sunday, June 16, 2024 - Fathers Day

Well today is fathers day. I did forget to write yesterday that Tina made a loaf of homemade bread for me. It was really good. I made some milk toast, one of my favorite breakfasts. You toast bread and put jam on it then heat some milk and pour over it. I love it. Anyway, you can only do it with homemade bread, because boughten bread gets to soggy and doesn't hold together.

Church was good. The cake and ice cream was a hit. Everyone enjoyed it. We had plenty that I think almost everyone that wanted it had some.

We bought a roast and had roast and potatoes. It was delicious. Haven't had a roast since we got here. 

All the kids called tonight to wish me a happy fathers day. That was nice. Natalie is cancer free as far as they know. She has to go in for checkup's every three months for for two years of something like that to make sure there is no cancer in her limp nodes. We feel that our fasting and prayer's were answered in this matter. 

Sam has officially started being a doctor. He said it is mostly orientation right now so he is not working long hours, but once he gets going he will be working a lot.

Cade and his family were on vacation and stayed at Sam's for a couple of days. They said they really enjoyed it.

Kameron is just getting home from a cruise with all of Katie's family. He said it was a lot of fun.

Tanner is doing good and coming to see us in two weeks. We are looking forward to that. 

The missionaries came over tonight because they have transfers this week and they come over to find out who is being transferred. Elder Morrell is being transferred to St Martin and the real surprise was that Sister Stone, who just got here last transfer is going back to Barbados. Elder Sabin who is in View Fort is going to I'm not sure where, maybe St Vincent.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
