• Late church start
• Investigator Eben
• Shomario talk on tithing
• President and Sister De'Beauville spoke
• Branch council - Hard to control
• Finally met Adella 

This morning we had a rough start to church. The north bus got delayed for some reason and they didn't get there till about 15 after Ten. We waited but finally started the meeting and they arrived during the start of the sacrament part of the meeting. 

Before church started there was an unfamiliar face that sitting in the chapel. His name was Eben and he was originally from India and was living in Canada and has just now moved to St. Lucia and will be here for at least a year. The missionaries met with him and gave him a Book of Mormon. We talked about Christ's visit to the Americas and also spoke with him about the promise that comes with reading the book of Mormon if you do it sincerely.

He may have gave him a little bit of overload on everything so I'm not sure he'll come back, but he was invited by several people. Hopefully he does. 

Shomario gave a very good talk on tithing. Sister D gave a good talk on the story of Korahor from The Book of Mormon. She gave a very long talk. By this time because we had already started late. We were way over time and president D still hadn't spoke. I asked him if he wanted to wait but he said he wanted to bear his testimony. So he spoke also. By the time we were done it was about 11:30.

By the time we were done there wasn't much time left for Relief Society in Elders Quorum. It is a bit of chaos when church gets over. There's people I would like to talk to but people are going everywhere and asking questions and Yohan wasn't there because his wife was sick and Noah wasn't there because he had to work. 

After church we had our branch Council but only three people showed up. We had some lively discussion about the bus route and how things were much better when they were in charge years ago. I was trying hard to stay with our agenda. Thought we didn't do a very good job. I mostly wanted to talk about the temple trip and our recent baptisms to make sure that they were being fellowshiped appropriately. We had very little discussion about either of us. 

After the meeting we gave Lambert and Celina a ride home. That takes a bit of time because they live on the other side of the mountain. 

This evening we finally got to meet Adella who is a return missionary but has never come to church since we have been here. I asked her if she would teach the temple preparation class and she said she would. So we went over to her house to give her a flash drive with the class outline on it. She seemed pretty excited to do it. 

We talked to Cade and all of his kids tonight and Kameron and all of his kids. It's interesting how the kids change. The younger kids want to talk to us but the older ones have very little if anything to say. We are trying to talk to all of them each week to share experiences from our mission.
