  • Tet Paul Nature Trail
  • Torallie Waterfall
  • Anse Chastanet bay

Today we took a long trip down to Soufriere which is down South and on the West coast. It is a bit of a drive and the road is very windy. It takes probably an hour and a half to get down there. We went through Soufriere to a place called Tet Paul Nature trail which is about a 30 minute hike and ends up between the two Pitons, Gros Piton and Petit Piton. It is a pretty easy hike compared to actually hiking the Pitons. It is a beautiful view. Pictures don't really do it justice. Tina and I have been here before, but it was fun having Tanner and Scarlett there with us.

After the hike we went back towards Soufriere. We got lost in there and ended up at the water fall. It was hot and so we decided to get in it. Well I didn't, but Tanner and Scarlett did. They said it hurt a bit, but was refreshing. They were called the Torallie Waterfall. 

We stopped at this place we were going to eat dinner. It was a buffet, but they were out of food and we wanted to go snorkeling at Anse Chastanet bay. It was supposed to be a really good snorkeling beach. They had brought us drinks but they told us the food would be out shortly. It was taking a while so we finally decided to leave. We went over to pay for the drinks, but they cashier told us not to worry about it. 

The road to the Anse Chastanet bay was this crazy dirt road that ended up a a resort and a short walk to the beach. We had a good time and there were quiet a few fish. We did bring a lunch just in case we didn't find a place to eat that we liked. We ended up eating the lunch we brought. 

We swam and snorkeled until it started getting late and then we came home. It was a good day.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission. He also asked Lyris Davis to speak. She spoke on how we must fear God which is a little bit of an odd topic but she had really prepared it well. It was OK but I need to make sure my co...
