  • Pizza for our 44th wedding anniversary

Today was a spend money day. We had the ok to purchase a new sound system for the church. The old one was terrible. 

First thing Tina and I had a planning meeting as we have been ask to do training for Zone Conference on Monday. They want us to train on the use of technology. Just be how much is wrote in the various manuals I am guessing that many of the young people have a hard time with getting on their phones to much. Anyway we worked on a plan for that and then headed to Castries to pick up Noah.

Noah and I went to a sound system store to purchase the speaker system we picked out and also bought a subwoofer to go with it. It is a very nice system. We then went over to the church and started hooking everything up. This kind of stuff is fun stuff.  After a while Tina and I had to leave and go home to have a phone call with the Rogers. They are the communication specialist for the Caribbean area. We had a nice visit and talked about ways they could help us in the communication area. We didn't have a lot of input. Tasha is the one is over that on our island. 

Following the call we went to the church for game night. Of course we were excited to try out our new system for Karaoke. I guess it worked pretty well. We had to leave to go meet with Kimberly Santos about their finances.

While we were there we received a call that there was no bus to take Samia and her sister home. That was frustrating since it left it up to Tina and I to take them home. They live way out by Jackmal which is about as far out as our members live. It took us a little less than an hour and a half to get down from Santos house to the church to pick them up and then take them home. We have to get that changed. It is just to far and we don't really like being out after dark.

Oh Shomario made Tina and I a special request pizza because today is our 44th wedding anniversary he gave us the pizza tonight at the church. It was very nice of him.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
