  • A bad Saturday
  • Dale called for February visit
  • Sharing the gospel with our neighbor

 Today I woke up and I was still in a pretty bad mood and devastated about Stevelle not getting a plane ticket to FSY. I have been pretty moody all morning about it. My gut is just churning. 

We had to go down to the airport because Henry had not received his ticket either. They told us it had been issued but not released. Someone will need to call the people that bought the tickets. 

After that we went over to help clean the church but the sister missionaries had already cleaned it. We got there as they were getting ready to leave. 

We went food shopping after that and came home and pretty much just sat around all day. I did have things to do but we were planning on going snorkeling and never made it. I'm just sick about the plane ticket issue. 

Dale called and said they were all planning to come in February sometime. I guess he's promoting it so we'll see what happens.

This evening I decided to go take a swim in the pool outside and our neighbor lady below us and kitty corner over was out walking around and we started visiting. She is from Trinidad and works here as a lawyer. We got talking about church and I told her about our church and the restoration and invited her to come. As they all do she said she might do it sometime. I told her she could come with us. I told her about our young single adult program on Fridays that it was from 18 to 35 and she was oh man I'm just about out of that age. Hard to judge people's age around here. They look young but they're usually older. Must be in the moist air.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
