  • Keyanna Sadie Alfred's Baptism
  • General conference today

This morning we got up and got ready and went to the church for the baptism of Keyanna Sadie Alfred. She is a young 16 year old girl that the missionaries have been teaching for sometime. Anyway she was committed to come to church for a month before being baptized. She did it and we baptized her at Vigge Beach. Elder Amato one of the full time missionaries from Samoa baptized her. She seemed to be very happy. She was a little scared of the ocean and it took a while for her to get out far enough that the water was deep enough. She was a little nervous and when Elder Amato put her under the water she kind of panicked and let go of his arm and her had came up so she had to do it again. I thought she would be really nervous on the second time, but she did much better and Elder Amato made sure she went all the way under and they were in fairly deep water and he pushed her way down.

After the baptism we went back to the church and had a talk on the Holy Ghost by Sister Selena George. After the service since we had quite a few people there we cleaned the church. It hasn't been cleaned for a couple of weeks. With so many people there were really cleaned it well.

General conference was this weekend so we pretty watched that. Because of the time difference The morning session started at 12 noon. The afternoon was at 4pm and the evening session was at 6 pm. We all went home and watched it there. I am not aware that anyone came to the church.

We did run out between sessions and picked up some items for Darren Barbe. He had asked for something to trap mice and rats with. We also bought some bug spray and some mosquito repellent. We did go out to early dinner at a place the missionaries recommended. It was ok. At least what I got.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
