  • Sharing a Book of Mormon with the person that returned the missionaries stolen stuff
  • Went to Yohans
  • Thanksgiving with Tasha and Linke

This morning it was pouring rain and it rained hard for most of the day. 

It broke up a little around 11:00 a.m. and we went back to Lauren's house and got the remainder of the stuff they retrieved from the beach. Her friend was there and we got to meet him. They are both really nice people and we visited with them for a bit. 

I actually took a Book of Mormon to give to her along with a card inviting people to our Christmas Sacrament meeting. After we visited for a bit, Tina went and got it out of the car and gave it to her. She said she used to have a Book of Mormon and was glad to get another one. We're going to follow up with something else for the reason to go over and see her again. Tina suggested making cinnamon rolls for Christmas and taking them to her. 

After that we went to the hospital. We had taken one of the elders there with an earache and they charged us $700. They called later and said they overcharged us and it was only like $150 so we went back and they credited back the extra on the credit card. 

We then went to yohan's and took a check over to pay the bus driver for bringing people to the baby shower last night. I visit with Sharlyne for a minute and ask her how the baby was doing. She said it was coming along good. I think she's been sick a lot with this baby. She's missed about 4 weeks of church. They hell and announced publicly that they are having a baby yet but I think a few people know. If Corey finds out, everybody will know. 

This evening, Tasha invited us over for a Thanksgiving dinner. Today is Thanksgiving in the United States. She also invited the missionaries but because they can't go out of their area we ended up holding it down at the church. The food was good and there was plenty of it. We had a nice evening.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
