  • Sister Casether Moses District YW president visits St Lucia
  • YW Activity

 I woke up in the night and listened to part of the BYU basketball game. It started at 10 and ended at 12:30. I wasn't awake for all of it, but enough of it that I was a bit wiped out this morning. We didn't really have too much going on early.

At 1:00 p.m. we went to the airport to pick up Casether Moses. She is the district young women's president and wanted to come and do an activity with our young woman at 2:30. 

We picked her up and took her up to her place where she was staying up by Rodney Bay. It wasn't the normal hotels we get but it looked nice from the outside. And it had a nice swimming pool. She was actually supposed to come in yesterday but missed her flight because of some changes in the flight schedule that didn't get relayed to her. 

We went back down to the church and we had four girls show up. Tadesha Cox , haviana Davis, Stevelle Celise Raphael. We also had our young women's President Selena, George and Kimberly Santos came. Tasha showed up with her daughter and a friend and they also participated but they are not young women made yet. 

Their first activity was to get on family search and get familiar with it. After they did that sister Moses had some games for them to play. They were just fun games and the girls seemed to enjoy them. 

Shomario brought Pizza that we had and Tasha brought some desserts. All in all, I think the girls had a good time. They are a bit of a tough bunch and sometimes not too respectful, but sister Moses did a good job with them. 

After the activity we all help get the girls home and then we took sister Moses back up to her hotel and went home.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
