  • Whale Watching
  • Sail boating
  • Dinner at Rodney bay

Today we had two different things going on. Half of us wanted to go whale watching and the other half wanted to go sailing on a sailboat.

So the girls and Lucas went whale watching. The rest of us Went up north to Smuggler's Beach to check it out. It turned out to be a really nice place and we went snorkeling there and the kids had a lot of fun there because they had big waves crashing in.

Finally it was time for us to go sailing and we were all excited about it because it was supposed to be a hands on thing where we would be selling the boat ourselves with the assistance of the workers of course. We met the crew and they were a couple of good guys and made it as enjoyable as possible. There were also two girls from England that went with us. They asked the girls if they wanted to do anything and they said no but because they were sitting by the equipment that needed to be used they ended up doing most of the work. They basically let us drive the boat Was a little boring in fact so boring that I didn't even do it. At any rate there was no wind so the boat went slow about two knots and they had to turn the motor on to keep us going. They were very apologetic about the whole situation. I guess they have no control over the wind. Interesting side note. I was out there a few days later and the wind was blowing very hard and they were singing and the boat was on about A 45 degree angle it looked like from where we were And they were going pretty fast. We were on shore with some friends at this point and just happened to see the sailboat going by. Oh what it could have been.

We met Tina and Karen and all the kids and went back to Smuggler's Beach and they swam for quite a while. After we finished swimming we went to Rodney Bay and went to dinner. I forgot to say that we had already gone to lunch there earlier because we hadn't ate all day. The women wanted to go out to dinner though so we went again.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
