• Took Kowallis' to the Market and Sister Caren got them for a few dollars
• Ran into the missionaries. Trying to find out why Shaunna did come to her baptism
• Visit with a young man at Massy's 
• Went snorkeling at Trouya Beach (Rabbit Hole)
• Spearfisherman and crab
• Literacy and interview at the church tonight

This morning we got up and I made French Toast for breakfast. We decided to go down town because Tina had to go to the immigration office and check on some paper work so we decided to go and visit the market and what ever other sites they wanted to see that were in Castries. 

We stopped at Sister Caren Kennedy's booth and she was really putting on the sales pitch. It paid off because she sold them about $140 US worth of stuff. So it was a good day for her. At least a good start for the day. There was no ships in port so I assume that would make for a slow day. 

We needed to get some money out of the bank so we went to a Massy's store but their ATM was out of cash. We were walking out of the store and saw the young elders. They were headed to Church's Chicken to check on Shauna who was supposed to get baptized on Sunday, but didn't show up. I am not sure why she didn't, but they said her phone was mashed up and wasn't working. I heard that the baptism was rescheduled for this Saturday.

While we were standing there a young man stopped and asked us if we were the Mormons. We said The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Anyway, he said he hadn't see us for a while. He is living in Maryland and was back home visiting. He was very friendly and talked to us for some time. The problem with stopping to talk to people in downtown Castries is that once you stop, the beggars show up and start asking for money. One did, but we told him that we didn't have anything for him today. He was a little persistent, but we didn't give him anything. 

We walked back across town to the Republic bank after visiting with the elders and got some money out of the bank. We again ran into the elders as Church's Chicken is across the street from the bank. 

Sue Kowallis wanted to buy some seamoss because it was cheaper here than in Barbados, so we went back to the market to get it.

We went home and got our snorkeling gear and headed to the beach. We took them to the rabbit hole aka Trouya Beach. When we got there there was some spearfisherman coming in and they had some interesting fish.

The water was rough today, but we went out further in the bay and got into some really cool coral and there were tons of small fish. Oh the cool thing we saw as an octopus. I got some video of him. I need to get the pictures off my GoPro. The Kowallis' had never had Doubles so we stopped and bought some for our lunch. They really liked them.

I should mention that we were out snorkeling quite a far out in the bay and two waverunners came in and one of them didn't see Tina and almost ran over her. she said she didn't even see or hear him. She just kept on Snorkeling.

This evening we had Literacy class and I had an interview with the FSY counselors. Only 2 of the 5 showed up. Henry and Rosa. We went over the temple questions because the requirement is that the counselors must be temple worthy. It was mainly for Henry Joseph and Larry Marquis. Larry didn't show up. I will attempt to get in touch with him again, but if he doesn't make the effort to come in and he never comes to church. We have 5 months to work on it.
