  • The Market
  • Vigie Beach and the waves
  • Sas En Bas Beach
  • Smugglers Beach

We got up this morning and went down to the market. That is always an experience but Sam and Cierra wanted to go down and see if they could find some souvenirs to take home. We stop by and visited Karen to see if she had some things that they would want to buy. We always try to help the members out if we can. They ended up buying a few things and enjoying the variety in the market. I did take them up to a guy that sells juices that I got to know through Noah and bought a couple of different kinds of juices. One wasn't very good but Hal Seem to really like it and drink it all.

After the market we went over to VG Beach to swim. It was quite windy and it had been raining hard and the waves were really crashing in we went out and played in them for a while and Lettie got Really got tumbled a couple of times. Even with that we had fun playing in the sand and jumping through the waves. I guess Cierra got tumbled by a wave and practically took her pants clear off. 

After we were done there we went back home and did what the kids really like the best which is to just swim in our swimming pool. We had lunch and then went and drove up north to see some of the beaches that we hadn't been to yet. We went to Cas En Bas beach which is on the East side of the island and is actually the Atlantic Ocean. The wind is always blowing there and they do kite surfing there. We watched that for a while and Lettie played in the ocean.

We then went to Smugglers beach and played there for a while. The waves were really big there so no one really got in. We just played in the sand. It is a cool beach to go to. You have to walk down 89 steps to get to the beach.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
