  • Visited Verona Celise with bad leg
  • Visited Linda Joseph who got robbed
  • Visited Angie McCaunley who is sick

Today we decided that we were gonna go out and visit some of the members that are or had some problems. Tina baked up some cookies to take to each one of them. They really never say thank you when you bring them something like food so you're never sure if they really want it or not. Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?

Our first visit was Visit Verona Solis. She is a police officer in Castries and she has hurt her leg somehow and they don't know what's wrong with. She went to the doctor and they told her to stay off it for a week and see what happens. We visited with her for a bit and she said that leg was very painful right now. She is a good member and very supportive and one of the ones that is there about every week to help clean the church so it's ready for Sunday.

Her friend and member Lyris Davis Has gone to St Maarten to be with her family for the funeral of her brother who passed away recently.

After visiting with Verona we drove up the mountain and stopped in to visit with Linda Joseph. We didn't realize it But her shop was broken into by someone while they were gone out and they busted up a bunch of stuff made a real mess. It was all cleaned up when we got there but you felt bad for her but she seems to be in good spirits and it looks like they have everything put back together. I doubt they will find the person that did it as they don't work real hard resolve in these kind of crimes.

We next went over to Angie McCaunley's house. She has been sick for quite a while now with some sort of chest infection. We took her a plate of cookies also. She was in bed asleep when we came by but Henry and Omari were there. Revisited with them for a bit and then Omari went and Angie up and she came out and visited. She did not look all that good. I asked her if I could send the elders up to give her a blessing and she said yes. So I called them when I got home and they said they would take care of it

Some sort of berries that grow on a tree but I never have quite figured out what they are

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
