On month from today we will be leaving on a jet plane out of Vieux Fort headed home. 

This morning we had to take the sisters to pick up their car that they dropped off on Tuesday. It was supposed to be done yesterday, but they said it needed one more coat of paint. They place they got it fixed seemed to be a bit of a shady place, but they work looked good. The sisters said they put some scratches in the drivers side door, but I don't know. 

Today, we went to help with the Disability camp. It is a 4 day event and today was the opening day. We went over to the place in Ciceron next to the Ciceron secondary school. The place is called Lady Gordon Opportunity Center. It is for disabled children. The first person I really met that was a participant and he is an interesting person. He has arms and legs but they are like pencil sticks. He almost look like a guy with no legs or arms. His body is kind of twisted. He can't feed himself so he asked me to feed him. His name is Ernie. He wasn't me to take him out of the country. He wants me to give him money to leave the country and travel. I told him to save a little of money and eventually he will have enough to travel. He's a little bossy, but he really can't do anything if you don't help him. We met a few other of the actual children who are younger. Ernie is 34 so he is older where most of the participants are children. between 8-16 and a few a little older. Today was mostly a signup day for everyone. They didn't have to much going on so finally we left. We had to get to the church for a youth FSY meeting. Rosa Paul was also at the Disability camp. Oh, one think we did while we were there was play a game called Triominos. It is a little like Dominos. I played twice and one both. I told them it was beginners luck. They didn't believe me. 

We had a little time before we had to be to the church so we stopped with Rosa and went to a shop and had dinner. The food was ok and no one got sick. 

We went to the church and had a meeting with Sister Medley via Zoom about what we needed to do to prepare for the FSY on Saturday. It is getting close and I don't feel like we are totally ready. We covered a lot of stuff and most everyone has gone before so they know what they need to bring.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
