  • Peter and Samanthia George's trip to St Martin
  • Disability Camp at Vigie Beach
  • Shooting in Castries. 2 die
  • Ciceron Football (soccer) field opening ceremony and we were in the middle of it

Today was quite eventful. 

First we got up and were going to take Samanthia and Peter George and their son Avik who is 7 to the airport. Samanthia surprised Peter with tickets to fly to St. Martin. Peter may just stay there and not come back according to Samanthia, but she said she is coming back no matter what. As we were loading up a car came up the driveway and it was Samanthia's sisters boyfriend and he said the flight had been canceled because of hard rains in St Martin. They were devistated and Peter wanted to go to the Airport and check it out. As you know Peter can only say Yes, Yes, Yes, Why, Why, Why. Be he got in the car and wouldn't get out. So we took them to the airport. While they were trying to figure things out, we took Avik to the beach to play. We had fun there and of course when his parents came back he didn't want to leave. 

I felt really sad for all of them because they were so excited about the trip and now it is canceled and they will have to reschedule. They were so sad having to come back home. It made me very sad for them also.

After taking them home we went shopping for the week. Nothing to exciting happened while shopping.

We got home and then went to Vigie Beach to meet the Disability camp kids. We were a little late, but we were able to help take some of them swimming. They thought it was fun. While we were swimming there was this rogue wave that was huge and really tumbled us all. Tina lost her sun glasses an was sad about that. 

There was a shooting in Castries today, actually two, but I think it was by the same people. Two people were killed. So because of the shooting they decided to take the kids home early. I guess they caught whoever did the shootings. That is unusual because they usually get away and no one dare's report them if they do know who it is because of fear of retaliation.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Make a video for our home ward in US Today was a build a video day for our ward back home. They are having a special primary day activity on Friday and they asked us to create a short video with our testimonies.  So I had to learn a new video maker program. I have always used Windows Movie Maker, but they no longer support it and someone else I think owns it and you can use the free version, but it is very limited. Windows 11 comes with a new program called Clipchamp. I think it is also supported by an outside company, but the free version that comes with Windows 11 has all the features I needed.  I did have to read up on how to use it and watched a bunch of Youtube videos for beginners. Between learning how to use it and using it to create a 2 minute video took all day. I finally got it done about 6:00 pm. Sunday, June 22, 2025 Sunday church was pretty smooth. Elder Esikia spoke and goes home next Saturday Lyris Davis spoke on fearing God Harvey showed up but didn't stick around My brother Bevin visiting my sister Tanya Interviewed Mohamad Joseph for temple recommend and Priesthood advancement Benjamin Joseph always asking for stuff from the church Confirmed Anette Valcin today Church went pretty smooth today. Shomario is conducting this month. He got his speakers but I think he got them late. The fact that Maya Jn Paul spoke would make me think that he probably hadn't got his speakers and asked her Saturday night. He asked Elder Esikia to speak and I gave him that suggestion on Saturday so I'm assuming he hadn't got his speakers yet. Elder Esikia spoke on how he decided to go on a mission.
